DoorDash drivers are not employees. They are contractors. One of the perks of being a contractor is flexible hours. If they are moved to employees they will work in 8-hour shifts. The model doesn't work. DoorDash will just leave SF.

Prop 22 was a scam from the getgo
I voted for it because I felt I should not pay for these people’s benefits but at the end of the day, they raised the fee and customers of these service will foot the bill for their massive spending promoting the prop
