    Today's federal court ruling on graphic cigarette warnings in the U.S. – as mandated by a 2009 federal law – is a major victory for the nation’s health, enforcing this effective measure to prevent more children and other non-smokers from picking up the habit.

    Graphic health warnings on packaging and advertising are a highly effective way to prevent children from smoking and motivate current smokers to quit. I applaud the for ordering to implement these warnings.
