Ah yes, YouTube deciding to punish smaller channels with new monetization policies...that won't affect the major problems or people exacerbating pre-existing issues we've deliberately brought to YouTube's attention. Once again missing the point, guys.

This change won't affect me directly, but this sort of weird decision making by YouTube certainly isn't helping the community gain any faith in their ability to prioritize or communicate with creators.

One of the bigger issues is once again YouTube has refocused everyone on the financial side of things. Are channels below this threshold making a living from YT? No and this doesn't prevent their ability to once they surpass it. But it definitely needs to explain that better.

In summary: 1) YouTube loves using misdirection to make people grumpy when it's got bigger issues it doesn't know how to handle 2) If you're a small creator, stop focusing on the money. Nobody is making a living below/at 1K subs/4K views. Don't let this change your passion/focus

Final point: YouTube still doesn't know what it's doing. YouTube still sucks ass at communicating and at treating creators like people. YouTube still needs to fix a lot of shit.
