    So, replacing methane gas in homes is hard... maybe? The rooftop gas-powered unit for my Brooklyn apartment conked, permanently. Huge capital expense, and since I rent the place, I needed to fix it quick. A short and warming story about heat pumps 1/

    🚨 🚨 🚨 HEAT PUMP THREAD ON customers REMOVING FOSSIL FUELS from their buildings. . We can beat the climate crises and economic crises of enough buildings hire locally to decarbonize!!!

    First, a stroke of luck: tenants love the idea of switching to a heat pump. They're even willing to heat the house with electric units for a bit while I sort things out. Yay! More luck, the HVAC guy I've used for repairs before says he can do a heat pump no problem. Yay! 2/
