It seems that in addition to carrying a flag and white supremacist propaganda, they were also expecting confrontation and carrying brass knuckles. (Possession of brasa knuckles is punishable by 2.5 years in prison in Massachusetts)
Unfortunately for them, i guess, the person who confronted them happened to be Boston PD. (Do you have any idea how bad you have to fuck up to get hassled by the Boston police department for “white mischief”?) and apparently, high on white entitlement, they tried to slap the cop.

Respect to everyone in Boston and elsewhere who raised the alarm on this early and was vigilant in identifying them as quickly as possible. This is what we mean when we say antifascism is self defense.
