I love this game just don’t understand why they gave the impression that it was dying. To me I love and am invested in Warcraft toons. I play league too but I dig hots

*They* never said it was dying. They said they were going to continue doing reworks, events, and slower hero releases. *Everyone else* heard that and started playing doomsayer; saying the game would never recover and that it was dead.

It's incredible how blizzard keeps trying to maintain HptS alive. It's a nice, really fun game, but far behind in "e-sportness" potential.

Blizzard gave up on the "e-sportness" a year ago, by cancelling the global championship. There is no official pro scene for HotS. Its base game is kept alive by hard working devs.
