@danielpunkass and I think most typical consumers won’t bother with anything outside the store these days despite indie dev’s outcries.

@schwa my parents called too often for SpamSieve update issues. Switched to Mail.app MAS apps. easier for them. Way way easier for me.

@blakeseely SpamSieve has an auto-updater, so I’d be interested to know what the issues were. -
@mjtsai folders full of dmg files. No idea how to actually install. No idea how to delete dmg files. Can email more when not o. iPad. -
@blakeseely Please do. With the default settings, it should prompt them to update, they click a button, and never have to touch any files. -
@mjtsai wish I could go back easily and look now. Moved them to lion and mostly MAS a month ago.
