    25 yrs ago starred in Joy Luck Club. 25 yrs later, we’re watching the first film with an Asian cast in that long and she was just so ecstatic for the Asian... nah she was just salty about not getting casted 😂 Also it should have just been “Asians”, it’s less redundant.

    Agree. Thesis based investing has always seemed like a way to make sure you miss out on great returns.

    Topical thesis in venture is for suckers. Outlier returns come from what's next. An open mind and a generalist outlook is the only approach that makes sense. Though "thesis" sells well to LPs. Inspired by a quote from . Discussed behind closed doors with many.

    The last 3 mo have been incredibly inspiring. I've learned so much about AI, web assembly, drones, autonomous everything, rockets, real uses for crypto, etc. There are an endless set of ideas to pursue. The hardest decision is choosing. I feel like a college kid again.
