I don't get how some people think Colors and Gens are the worst 3D Sonic games. Boi, did you see what came before those games? If you think those games are bad, there is no pleasing you.

I just kinda think the 3D Sonic fanbase is stuck in this cycle of nostalgia. The Classic Sonic games were actually worthy of it. 3D Sonic is based on childhood memories. 3D Sonic has always been flawed. Atleast the boost gameplay is fun imo. Even if it's lacking deep gameplay.

A lot of people who say that grew up with those games. Those games you mentioned are far worse, but I do think the boost era needs to end.

Well I wish Lost World did better. And was a better game overall. Cos I think they were onto something with that Sonic. But alas, was ditched before they even got to refine it

I agree. Honestly I think the 3D gameplay of Lost World had a lot of potential. I just wish it had tighter controls.
