Imma say something controversial here but... with the improvements made to Crash 1. I find it more enjoyable than 2 now.

My issue with Crash 2, and still is (even though loading hints help you now). The secrets are just a bit lame and sloppy.
I actually think that about 3. I really felt proud when I discovered a secret on my own in 2. 3 was more of a crapshoot.

Well, the core secrets for getting the basic 100% in 3 was a lot more manageable. The secrets werent needed for the best ending I think in 3

True, but I did love the clever ways you got the colored gems in 2. If anything the secret warp room access were cryptic, but I like it.
