That's not to belittle the desire to go to E3. I'm still shocked I've been able to go so many times, and it's a bummer 2020 is cancelled. But E3 is, fundamentally, a business show for business stuff. Even if it was shifting, PAX was built from the ground up for the community!
I think it's more that most people don't get to go to E3 and they watch the conferences from home. And yes we'll still have direct-like announcement from the big 3 most likely, but it was nice to have it altogether in one week of the year. If PAX had that, oh man, game changer!
