Dumb question. Isn't the rode mic pro like their best version? What makes the Deity one better?

technically the videomic pro+ is rode’s “best” version, but that’s $100 more than the pro. The deity has all the same added functions that the + model has, and the gain is stepless instead of just a +20db switch. The deity is also has a better sound imo, less harsh low end freq
