I think they were fun features too but Megas didn't benefit every Pokemon that could have done with a leg up and Dynamax benefits more moves then just one like with the Z-Moves, so I see Dynamaxing as more universally fair and balanced for all Pokemon
Seems like Mega Evolution and Z Moves are officially out of Sword and Shield. I'm less miffed about it than the whole transfer shenanigans, but I did like the Megas. Z Moves were always kind of meh for me.
