Gonna say it now, maybe controversial: Avengers game looks more fun as a story than it does as a game. The gameplay looked super stiff, especially when E3 is where you lie about how your game looks to make it more appealing.
I think it's actually the consensus, most people are actually not too hot about it. Then again, I had similar doubts about Spidey and it won me over in an instant.

If it can do what Spidey did and be far better to play than to watch, then I'm in. But for right now I'm skeptical

Well, I think it's going to be very hard for them to implement so many play styles in one game. Iron Man and Thor can fly which already sounds game breaking.
