1. Skies of Arcadia. Not only it was the game that got me in JRPGs, but also the scope and story inspired me to write fantasty stories at a younger age. To this day it is still my 2nd favorite game of all time.

4. Klonoa: Door to Phantomile has by far the most emotional ending to a video game ever. I am not going to spoil it, but I admit I cried a bit afterwards. 5. This is tough because I like quite a few studios, but I think in recent memory I'd have to go with Naughty Dog.
