Yo twittertwat. I'm looking to capture footage from my 3DS for the near future. Is this simple/possible with my current 3DS XL, or do I need a special system? Where do I start? Thanks for the help!
If you don't mind using the original 3DS I highly recommend Loopy's capture card over Katsukity. Capture quality is better and the software allows for more codecs and features. Also I heard Katsu has DRM but maybe it was removed ever since.

Katsu never had DRM. That was never a thing. Katsu's software also makes it 10x easier to record in other programs like OBS and just edit it to how you want it.

I second this. I've had a Katsu system for a while now and I love it. It makes recording 3DS/DS stuff super easy.
