Yes. There were a couple of woke episodes sprinkled in every season, but it was mostly just them living, loving, and chasing their dreams

Literally about a family dynamic and not putting harsh emphasis on blackness. But I appreciate the new shows now though, really honing in on the things we face

You’re absolutely right! I can’t find a show that’s BLACKITY Black, not a significant white star in sight while still being real with how Black folks really live.
