Hate and insurrection have no place in government, communities, schools, or classrooms. Read the statement from Board of Directors on the events that took place at the U.S. Capitol building on January 6.

    (3) imagine beginning your teaching journey in this way and all you dreamed of was making connections and seeing your students and designing lessons that you learned was important. We need to bolster them ao they know it’s not always going to be this way.

    (2) if we want our beginning teachers to see their students’ brilliance we must see their brilliance. We must Name the strengths we see explicitly and carefully and personally with details so they know we mean it and we know they are seen.

So, I’m wondering... if beginning teachers must be observed in a remote setting using same criteria used to observe f2f inst, could they look for brilliance rather than deficits? Could we could ask “how can I support this person to stay and grow their strengths?”
