Barbq, my macOS status bar, is starting to become usable: It's written in Haskell with a custom @paf31 style Comonadic UI layer on top of the "vty" package for the status bar widgets.pic.twitter.com/6BI9WpI93r

I plan on properly cleaning it up and asking a few Haskell pros to code review it!
Decoupled the virtual-terminal-specific runtime and the specific component instances into separate packages and cleaned up things a bit https://github.com/bkase/barbq/blob/master/Barbq/UI/Framework.hs … . Still needs a code review before I share more widely I think, but maybe this is clearer
Thanks! I am no Haskell expert, but if I find something worth mentioning, I’ll send my feedback
Please do!
a few comments: - I used `stack init` then `stack build` because using cabal new-build won't do it for me - when I start the application I getting a series of messages about missing `chunckc`
Definitely not ready for others to use! Thanks though! I’m building with nix and it assumes you have chunkwm installed and configured locally
