Definitely feasible, as long as the spike frequency is within the range of the SDR stick (typically around 500 kHz to 1.75 GHz) and you can figure out the spike frequency (involving lots of bouncing on chairs

is the monitor connected via hdmi? We didn’t see the problem appear with DisplayPort connections

It can happen to both HDMI and Dp. Have you tried other HDMI cables? I believe some aren't shielded correctly.
