I've been just about to start reading David Dalglish very soon for… a while… this review isn't helping my poor TBR pile! Good news: this book is out in 2023. Bad news: that means I have time to read the first one :(

My #BookReview of THE SAPPHIRE ALTAR by @thatdalglishguy. Release Date: January 10, 2023. An absolutely stunner of a sequel to Dalglish's The Bladed Faith. Special thanks to @angieeman & @orbitbooks for the advance copy. outofthisworldrev.blogspot.com/2022/08/book-r

There's a lot of me talking ;) on the plus side, at the end you can see what I look like when I'm completely red. I would like to thank the Macbook Air webcam for this experience.

I LOVE when Amazon does this. $5.21 for the new paperback – used ones are more expensive! Even your TBR pile will thank your that. Also, it's practically saving money. Buy 10 and xmas gifts are taken care of. amazon.com/Dark-Oak-Book-

Amazon has discounted the Dark Oak paperback to just $5.21! Snap it up while you can! The Dark Lord is dead, but Morrick fought on the wrong side... amazon.com/Jacob-Sannox/e #fantasybooks #paperback #FantasyIndiesAugust #amreading #amreadingfantasy

As of literally today, August 20, Amazon stopped supporting MOBI files. We knew that. But ARC EPUBs get converted to what looks like Word. Why Odin Drinks is now all in italics and embellishments stretched, plus more fun :( Here's old vs new. (Book bought via Zon is fine.)

I've always hated the "kissy kissy" greeting. I wanted to seem "normal," though. It's a small thing, but it feels good to know this is now negotiable. Give me ALL the free hugs Husby (or your kid) might not want. Hurray for hashtag no more mwah mwah! 💜 /end

STOP EVERYTHING THERE IS A NEW BJÖRK ALBUM COMING – "organic and spacious, earthbound rather than dreamy, and filled with warmth and breath" (I don't know what that means either) Title is Fossora. I hope she sings the word "rrrreespecht" – nobody rrrreespechts like Björk does.

Very few classics would even get published today. I was thinking about that when re-re-reading Rebecca last year. A partial of Lord of the Rings would be "Concerning Hobbits" so good luck with that, TOLKIEN. Wuthering Heights has an avg of 3.88 on GR – unlikable protags. Etc.

RANT! More & more writing reads like it's been passed through Grammarly & published with all changes accepted. The sameness is beginning to grate. Relentlessly aggressive use of active voice (to ensure reader engagement, because grabbing them by the hair
