Unbelievable pro-Assad propaganda on German Television: ZDF reporter in Damascus says that people told him that ISIS (!) placed chlorine canisters in Douma and waited for SyAAF to bomb these - reporter says he thinks it’s plausible.https://twitter.com/zdfheute/status/987393352495542273 …

This is not an isolated incident. Public German broadcasters ARD and ZDF are in full pro-Assad propaganda mode since Douma. They are a trusted source of information and reach many millions, so Assad‘s lies are very effectively spread in Germany.

Did you receive money to say that? No, you just want to believe it as it fits with the view that 'everything' is corrupt. Ditto for the reporter, he wasn't paid either. He just wants to believe the attack was fake as it fits into his view that Western politics are phoney.

Not in in countries with free media. If a reporter is frequently paid to report untruths, other reporters or the public will find out eventually and report on it. Sure, some things slip through the net and there is a wide grey zone when it comes to things like product 'reviews'.
