    My unsolicited take: BTC is running away with this market as much by accident as by design. Like previous accidental life-changers; Penicillin, plastics, pacemakers, microwave ovens, Viagra, X-rays, etc., the true blockbuster nature was understood later, bringing market ubiquity.
