Times 'a changin'. I was always taught that clergy should be apolitical in their public comments. Apparently not any more. A bit shocked.

@bishopmikehill I mean obviously there were parties with groups such as Zealots, division even within Sanhedrin. -
@iTeachRE Agreed. Though is it true that any comments re Roman political masters was at best either cryptic or respectful? Not sure. -
@bishopmikehill Yes and even accepted freely their death sentence. Authority is be respected, but important to promote plight of the poor. -
