    An event for was held by Kilkenny branch on 1st Feb at Newpark Marsh. An informative walk, entertainingly led by Pat. Wetland birds were shy, but we had a treecreeper, goldcrests, long-tailed tits, and blackcaps.

    We marked Brexit and International Wetlands Day by catching Eurasian Curlew, Icelandic Oystercatchers & Redshank, Canadian Turnstone in a cross-border Irish wetland SPA (Carlingford L) within 12 hrs of the UK leaving the EU
