my least favorite aspect of this is I've seen a few Chinese places in the USA where the real Chinese part of the menu is all in Chinese so I have a hard time ordering something that doesn't come with lots of gloopy brown sauce, which they think I want!

Another one was seeing giant stone horses in front some restaurants for the first time and thinking, wow, who put it here to curse this restaurant and its customers
