If r/dec REALLY wanted to put the breaks on Capital, they’d become communists.

But not communists? Marx is vastly better at anticap than Ted K. Individualist anti-capitalism doesn’t work. Only a state can suppress economic agreements between private individuals.

Okay but ideally we like the industrial system completely gone either through violence (unlikely) or collapse (inevitable). Do whatever communism you'd like afterwords. The reason capital isn't liked is because it destroys biosphere and dissolves traditional social arrangements.

Yeah, I know what you’re about. What I’m saying is, you people are tactically aligned with communists in the near-mid term. More communism means a faster and less brutal collapse.

The thing is how do we stop the Communis from setting up an industrial society again? See Mao.

Sure, this would be a legit /dec concern. But communism that eventually revives capitalism is better for /dec than unabated capitalism.

Well tbh if IndSys crashes fully thats it. Geological conditions and material limits make a second rise of it become asymptotic with zero percent. IndSys relies on rare earth metals and international shipping and petroleum like a heroin addict needs heroin. (Ted's analysis)

Cap might collapse and then revive on national scale. But yes, I agree, not on a global scale.
