Valorant is so fun. I've barely played CSGO but this game is more enjoyable since it's a little more faster paced and more colorful. As a former T500 Overwatch player, I can say that Valorant > Overwatch for people who prefer a slower, aim focused game. Valorant games take about 40+ minutes whereas OW takes about 15-30. Further, it feels more enjoyable due to the lack of barriers and CC.
Also, VLRNT is more enjoyable personably because it's harder to blame/be blamed for things. It's still team based, but it's not Overwatch, 75% team based/35% aim based. VLRNT feels 75% aim based and 35% team based. Riot does good adding QoL features to make it more team based .
