I don't mind admitting I was waiting up the road for a good ten minutes with my teenage daughter afraid to go in to the @Womans_Place_UK meeting. An older woman took us both and marched us through them. I was shaking like a leaf in there, thought the windows were coming through!

What I would like to know is whether
@sussex_police take this approach to *all* public order offences or whether, in this case, they’ve simply picked a side? Either is completely unacceptable and not the role they are paid to enact. We need some answers. -
During the GRA consultation sussex police paid for a stonewall advert around trans rights. I queried with the police commissioner as it could be viewed as politically taking sides during a contentious debate & could they make a statement that they supported both women and trans.

The UK police are an absolute disgrace. How can they let that intimidation continue but a woman has been arrested and faces court for hurting a man’s feelings. I wish I could leave this country, it’s getting more unbearable to live here by the day.

The rest of the planet is nothing to write home about. Believe me, I've travelled extensively. Stay home a fight for a better country.

Someone from inside the meeting should have popped out, done a bit of misgendering and the cops would have sprung into action.

The 2019 pride car would have been there in a thrice!

My understanding is you can peacefully protest about anything and you can violently protest about nothing. The police should be arresting people for breach of the peace.

That's exactly what I asked them. Isn't disturbing the peace still an offence?
