Under the premise that passing and touchdowns should be pursued at all costs, my fantasy football league has: - Points only for passing & receiving - No defense - No kickers Air Raid scoring, baby!

Kelly Claes is such a savvy volleyball player. Variety, instinct, and skill on display with every 2-ball. So impressive.

Has Chris Paul been to an NBA Finals before? I can’t believe that the broadcast hasn’t yet discussed this topic. ;)

It’ll be interesting to see what happens…but generally I do think that NIL will be good for college sports.

The tough part - with no players Union - would be EA getting all these players under contract. Maybe you only buy player info for certain players? For example “buy the Heisman front-runner pack” and just get some subset of players.

Perhaps EA offers an in-app purchase for downloadable “real rosters”. For example, you can buy the “real Alabama roster” (names, numbers, attributes, etc.) for $5?

To avoid NIL fees to players, my hunch is that EA will not associate real-life players with in-game players. For example, randomized player info and attributes.

900 consecutive days . :)

Microsoft is boldly using 3 different UX patterns for responding to a recurring meeting: 1️⃣ Outlook (Web): Attend? (1 button) ➡️ Occurrence ➡️ Comments + Response 2️⃣ Outlook (Mac): Attend? (3 buttons) ➡️ Occurrence + Comments + Response 3️⃣ Teams: Occurrence ➡️ Attend?

    Nothing makes you appreciate a mesh wifi network like trying to set up an old router + wifi extender. Mesh: - bims_wifi Wifi + Extender: - bims_wifi_2.4GHz - bims_wifi_2.4GHz_extended - bims_wifi_5GHz - bims_wifi_5GHz_extended 🤬

Interesting perspective on how traditional sports media practices — specifically press conferences — should evolve.

Remote work is not going away. Looks like it's time to bite the bullet + get a podcast mic. Recommendations? "When audio quality is high, people judge content as better, more important. They judge the speaker as more intelligent, competent, & likable."

For example: “When a doc is created and the author shares it with another person who doesn’t have access, then they can edit it.” vs. “Bob created a doc. Sue does not have access to the doc. When Bob shares the doc with Sue, then Sue can edit the doc.”

It’s so true. I usually try to: - Remove vague words (“it”, etc.) - Break up compound sentences (commas only for lists). - Use active voice. (“When a user uploads a doc” > “The doc is uploaded”) The writing sometimes feels robotic and unnatural...but the result is more clear.
