    Ah! A case for curating orphaned OER. I'd bet most all OER coordinators in HE have unfinished content that we don't know what to do with. I do. Where to put it?

    After a lot of time and investment I just had an academic department pull out of an remix project for a high-impact/high-enrollment required course the faculty had committed to. A really great update project dumped. No other oer exists for this topic. This sucks. :(

    This is a good thing, but remember that the dominant view is that any departure from IP maximalism is deemed extraordinary. Wish it were more often the choice, and less often viewed as an extreme measure.

    These extraordinary times and circumstances of call for extraordinary measures. The US supports the waiver of IP protections on COVID-19 vaccines to help end the pandemic and we’ll actively participate in negotiations to make that happen.
