Wait, how can health insurance not cover meds?? If her insulin type is now not covered, they need to cover a different brand. They have tier 1,2, 3, and non covered medications. Call and ask what alternatives they cover for her insulin scrip.

Tier 1 $15 T2 $30 T3 $70 T4 $150 T5 $500. Insulin is not covered

The problem with health insurance in America today is that most people have no clue how bad it is until they actually have to use it and then comes the shock. It's criminal. The @GOP is doing their best to make it much worse. Once America really catches on, they will all be gone.

Open enrollment the coverage should not change until open enrollment when I signed again. Otherwise it is bait and switch and it is a scam

I’m sure they have fine print saying they can change their policy at any time. This will be a hassle for you, but: 1) ask your doctor to get an override for the insulin. 2) make a complaint to State Health Dept 3)Name & shame on Twitter. 4) Coupons are always available from manuf

Outrageous. I think you may be able to buy from Europe. Canada has stopped letting us buy from them due to running low for their own people but check anyway. Also I would call my Representaives and Senators Every. Damn. Day. And demand action be taken. In fact I will call mine 2
