    The new UK rules actually make it harder to hire people from the US to early career roles than when we were in the EU. It is not easy telling candidates who contact you from elsewhere in the world that they won’t be eligible under immigration rules. Global what ?

    The claim that Brexit means we can employ people from all over the world is very obviously wrong. There’s nothing in Free Movement preventing you hiring talent from other countries. In fact, losing FM just makes it harder for small businesses.

    So by this time tomorrow I along with many others will be fired by British Gas. What have we done wrong? Absolutely nothing, we just didn't agree to their new contract that would make us work longer hours for less pay. 30 years of loyal service counts for nothing. 🥲
