The new UK rules actually make it harder to hire people from the US to early career roles than when we were in the EU. It is not easy telling candidates who contact you from elsewhere in the world that they won’t be eligible under immigration rules. Global what ?

So by this time tomorrow I along with many others will be fired by British Gas. What have we done wrong? Absolutely nothing, we just didn't agree to their new contract that would make us work longer hours for less pay. 30 years of loyal service counts for nothing. 🥲

Great remark in this : My desire for independence is not anti-anything.........It's about having a bit of belief in ourselves again. I want a neighbour, not a ruler “.....Outlander star Sam Heughan throws his weight behind Scottish independence

Only in North East Fife are standing at this election to rejoin the EU as soon as possible. I am firm in my commitment to that goal. Do you see Scotland's future as part of the EU? If you do, it needs to be

TV page, Glasgow Evening Times, 1980's: "Billy Kay, the man with the broadest accent in broadcasting, mouths gutteral [sic] noises about the Temperance Movement". They printed my reply suggesting they were insulting me & 90% of their readers who make the same "guttural noises"!

Yeah I've read it. Along with my qualification in legal interpretation. It's been willfully misreported in its aims

The same fannies who tweet me tae say 'Scots isn't a real language' are probably the same yins who speak it everyday ae their lives. The cultural self hatred is strong among some Scottish folk. Ah dinnae see ma identity as a disability, it's ma strength.

Some day for it in Anstruther and Cellardyke today after a morning in Cupar. Great to see such visible support for across North East Fife and a cracking view to end the day at Ainster harbour. Back on the campaign trail tomorrow!

I know good folk who support Alba, and wish them well if they succeed in getting more pro Indy MSPs. They let themselves down tho by quoting the latest Wings conspiracy theories - Stu is to Scottish politics what Neil Oliver is to Scottish history - no very sound an no very wice.

Here we are learning how to use a new dictionary editing system. It feels really daunting but we can’t wait to master it so we can make DSL even bigger and better.

Those were the days!😡. I remember thinking at the time that those words represented everything that was wrong with Scottish society.
