Instead of using childish verbiage, why not call it what it is, a slur. Using “f word” doesn’t have any impact, just an ability, a pass, to continue to use it. Just something to think about.

I think the difference is that Sarah Silverman, Amy Schumer, Chelsea Handler, they've apologized for language before. They've shown their support through actions for years. They didn't just double down and accuse the gay community of threatening their happiness like Hart did.
