How are people handling the Erlang time API when the code has to be backwards/forwards compatible for 17 and 18?
@cmeik Yes, but I've yet to actually USE my library. os:timestamp() works most places. If not, you only need time_compat:timestamp()

@billstclair The majority of places where now() was being used was for unique identifiers, so I already used the library a few places. -
@cmeik Makes sense. Most of the code I've looked at just needed to print or delta the time, so os:timestamp() worked fine.
