Well the " record funding" hasn't seen an increase in Medicare rebates to Allied Health professionals....maybe it has to Medical Specialists.....if it hasn't, gap payments will only get bigger as annual costs to practice keep rising. It's a no brainer.

My Hoomin mum wishes that the South Australian Government bought back free dental for Hoomins on the pension and welfare. She had to pay $60 to have a rotten tooth to be removed. She didn't have that monies and had to ask a charity to pay for her. She was lucky they did.

That's appalling, feel for you dear mum. I've known of elderly pulling each other's teeth out because of pain & in affordable dental.
