    In new published research, I test the argument that when companies pay less tax, they create more jobs. The data show the opposite. Lower effective tax rate → fewer jobs created. Full research paper:

    This says it all - tax concessions to the most wealthy are costing the Budget $68 billion a year. Labor will make the tax system fairer because we believe in a fair go for everyone, not just the top of town.
