Just like these sequels the second mil is always better. Happy 2 mil downloads to the myGov app! What's your favourite sequel? myGov is changing the way Aussies access govt supports - because getting government help, especially when you're vulnerable, shouldn't be stressful.
Bill’s face photoshopped onto Shrek. He’s holding a giant 2 and standing with animated characters Fiona (ogre), Donkey and Puss in Boots.
Bill’s face photoshopped onto animated character Paddington Bear. He’s wearing a blue coat and red hat. Overlay text is Paddington Bear 2. Big bear. Big trouble.
Bill’s face photoshopped onto Sigourney Weaver’s character from Aliens. He’s holding a little girl who has myGov brand on her face and a giant futuristic gun. Alien eggs surround him. ‘Aliens’ text at bottom of page.

We will not shy away or waste time on the cost of living crisis that the Lib Gov fuelled. We’re rapidly investing in renewables, capping energy $, providing energy rebates to millions, making childcare & medicine cheaper, investing in housing and we’re getting wages moving again

External entities that do govt work don’t always serve the public - they serve their own profit driven goals. Those following the story about PwC has seen that writ large. It’s an important reminder of why we need a strong, transparent public service supporting government

Congratulations to my friend Mark McGowan - amazing innings. You left WA better off than you found it, that's all anyone can ask.

It’s 17 years to the day since Brant Webb and Todd Russell were rescued after the Beaconsfield Mine collapsed. Sadly, we also remember Larry Knight who was tragically killed in the disaster. Vale, Larry.

Greater Union, the cinema I first saw Star Wars at when I was a kid, may be gone but the Resistance lives on! Happy May the 4th
Han Solo, Chewie and Baby Yoda all standing together looking stern. Bill’s face is very poorly photoshopped onto Han and Yoda. Overlay text says ‘May the 4th be with you’

Vale Allan Gyngell AO. When I was leader of the opposition I sought his council, as he was a person of great knowledge and humility and always put Australia's national interests first. RIP, Allan.

Farewell to my favourite (fictional) constituent Dame Edna Everidge. You put Moonee Ponds on the map. Well played Barry you were a legend!

The passing of Father Bob is incredibly sad news. I first met him back in 1983. He would poke fun at those in power but he never stopped fighting for those without it. God Bless, Father Bob. I’m sure heaven has its gates wide open for you, but boy are they are in for a ride.

Kath Madgwick and Jenny Miller are two of the bravest women I’ve ever met. Not only did they take on the former government on behalf of their sons, who were victims of the insidious Robodebt scheme, they are now helping prevent suicide for all. #Robodebt abc.net.au/news/2023-04-1

I couldn’t be happier tonight for NSW, and Chris and Anna and the Labor team. An historic victory. And commiserations to Dominic Perrotet and his family on a very hard night for them.
