Fact-check - there are more jobs in the renewable/green industry in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) than oil, gas & coal industries combined.

In April, Pittsburgh mayor Peduto illegally signed legislation restricting semi-auto firearms and standard capacity mags. To follow that, Peduto recently presented DICK'S CEO with an award for banning guns from his stores. They are a match made in heaven. nraila.org/articles/20190

By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.

Important first hand account from inside PPG Arena. The vandals are not part of the young Black Leadership that organized this March. They are anarchists, hell bent on chaos and destruction. The hijacked a peaceful, march for justice and exploited it for their own selfish agenda.

In Pittsburgh, every child will receive a new, free book every month until their fifth birthday. By the time they turn five, they will own a library of 60 books.

Actually... I went to honor 2 of our Police Officers who were injured on Saturday. We worked with the to have them on the ice for ceremonial puck drop. They stayed with their families, I left to spend an hour of my birthday with my family. In Pittsburgh, we help people.

With all that went on in the town since Saturday he goes to a freaking hockey game. He just went to see how many times he is on camera. Pittsburgh mayors are pathetic. Years ago when the city was going broke mayor Murphy was at his horse ranch in Buller county every weekend.

Cancelled interview w/ Lynne Hayes-Freeland for tomorrow. Not upset w/her, she’s always been a fair, strong journalist. But will not support behavior. Growing up, KDKA had good people who made us proud to be from Pittsburgh. Now, it shock-jocks, sensationalism & worse.

Lost my Dad in 1998. Didn’t really celebrate Christmas that year. Instead, received this coffee mug from my Mom. Only use it on Christmas, to remember those no longer with us, for past 20 years. Merry Christmas to all those who gather, to all those we lost & to all those alone.

Tomorrow we begin the funerals for our 11 neighbors who were stolen from us. Tomorrow we continue to mourn their loss. We continue to help their families & those that were wounded. We reach out to our Jewish community to share love, compassion & empathy. We are #StrongerThanHate

Thanks, Dejan. Spent 2nd QT reading your article & Twitter responses. Get what you’re saying. Although we don’t have a legal argument, you’re correct, we do have a civic morality to the history of our team. I will work w/others to find long-term options. Turning sound back on.

That's respected, Mr. Mayor. Nothing was binding with Brewers, either, but community/government worked together toward a solution. There's a DEEP divide in TRUST here. As you know better than most, that's not found on paper, but it matters. You can help bridge it. #OurTeamNotHis twitter.com/billpeduto/sta…

Absolutely heartbroken. Franco was everything good that is Pittsburgh. He showed up, unannounced, without cameras, to so many volunteer & charitable events. He constantly gave without asking. He was a warrior for justice. So many positive memories, so little time. RIP #Franco 💔

In PA, w/one of nations most gerrymandered districts, Democrats may elect 6 Senate seats and a dozen House seats. Oh yeah, in the next redistricting, unlike past 20 years, Republicans will no longer be in control. PA is majority Democrats - soon districts will represent people.

This morning I lost my friend, mentor & oldest brother - Guy A. Peduto III. The last surviving member of my family of seven that grew up in a modified 3 bedroom house in Scott Twp, Guy & his wife Donna devoted their lives for the betterment of WV. A kind & caring man, I miss him.

Ok. Good Night. All I have to say is this. We have a real problem with urban homicides & mass murders. We must agree that doing nothing is not a solution. A solution must recognize Constitutional rights & the ultimate safety of people. It is solvable.

It’s true. Since we’ve adopted “complete street” standards that have proven record of making neighborhood streets safer, Pittsburgh has been experiencing record number of 50 year & 100 year precipitation events, record landslides & flooding associated with them. Roundabouts, yep.

I’ve lived in Point Breeze for 18 years. Nothing like this had ever happened - until Mayor Bill Peduto decided our intersection needed a “roundabout” for cyclists. Thanks, Bill. You suck. (Hey, liberal neighbors. You still happy with your votes? Still Ridin’ with Biden?)

I’m appalled by legislation in Alabama, Georgia, and even here in Pennsylvania that limits a woman’s right to choose. I’ll veto any anti-choice bill that lands on my desk. I won’t let our commonwealth go backward on reproductive rights.
