    My 92 y.o. mother just waited two hours in her car to vote curbside in Virginia Beach and said that when she pulled away the line of cars behind her was massive.

    This is important--people in Uganda, protesting oil devt and plans for a massive pipeline, have been arrested, and there are concerns for their safety. need to release them unconditionally. Please help spread the word

    We're deeply concerned about the arbitrary arrests and detention of environmental and in Hoima town. We urge to release them unconditionally. Our lawyers are responding to the situation. should not be used as an excuse to violate rights.

    So many tens of thousands of people have fought for fossil fuel divestment, and here's graphic proof of one of the arguments they've been making. On we go!

    Bill McKibben launched the fossil fuel divestment campaign in July, 2012 with his Do the Math article in Rolling Stone. Here's the performance of Big Oil stocks versus the S&P 500 since then. Stock market ⬆️150%, oil stocks ⬇️51%.
