BP is the one company who has really gone all in to "green" itself. I know they are controversial and bring baggage, but I see them as a good model for other super majors to follow.

Maybe governments should stop subsidizing them now? The appeals will be costly.

Why do people talk about “royalty holidays” as subsidy? They are a function of attracting a limited number of investors reviewing a global basket of opportunities. The expected tax rate is friggen made up in the first place, why is a a different imaginary # a problem?
