It's a really tough call for me, but I went with Cey over Cedeno which I think is the right two.

I struggled with this one as well and also came down to Cey/Cedeno, but fell on the Cedeno side of the line.

Not enough third baseman and honestly there few baseball memories I enjoyed as a kid was watching Cey the bases literally looking like a Penguin. (Also the HOFer for the 1981 Dodgers which had unbelievably high number of good but not HOF players.)

The 1981 Dodgers must have a record of six pitchers that won 150+ games with winning records but no HOFers among them! (Venezuela, Ruess, Hooton, Welch, Stewart & Stucliffe)

Caruthers only played nine seasons. Cash is the most HoF worthy, but I'd rather have Cedeno playing CF. Just curious, why is Bobby Mathews ignored by history? 15th all-time IPs and 297 wins.https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/mathebo01.shtml …

I vote for Bobby Mathews just for that mustache.

Really hard to decide, but I went with Cey due to defensive position and team success over Cash. Cedeno might have been the pick with the same yearly stats put in a different order, as weird as that sounds.

Caruthers played in ten seasons,1884-1893. As a unique accomplished double duty player, he deserves consIderation for singular achievements that should produce wonder & fascination from those of us living nearly 140 years later. Alas, it doesn’t seem to work that way...
