In 1974, as well as recording with the Rolling Stones, Bill released his first solo album Monkey Grip.

Bill recently advised artist Henrietta Caledon on the history of Chelsea to help produce a beautiful new illustrative map of the area.
Yesterday the map was officially unveiled at Ropers Gardens by the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea, and Bill said a few words.

Blues legends Buddy Guy & Junior Wells recorded this album live at the 1974 Montreux Jazz Festival. The album is produced by Bill Wyman who also features on bass guitar along with pianist Pinetop Perkins.
