Stung by my expose of his shady past, the fugitive tries to use patriotism to rally his troops. You are welcome to wave all the flags you want, but I’m more of a patriot than a fraud like you’ll ever be. To repeat Dr Johnson’s words “Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel “

Most women in Pakistan don’t go to court even when they are beaten black and blue, let alone something as difficult to prove as sexual harassment. A culture of sexual shaming and deeply interwoven family dynamics make it impossible for women to come out with their truth.

Congrats for winning this award. Credit to for holding his ground & standing up for his colleague[s]. Sadly, DAWN is facing another round of intimidation. A is a non-negotiable requirement of a democracy. .

Extremely disappointed to hear that 2 elected MNA were not allowed to hold their press conference at National Press Club Islamabad. While censorship has reached new heights in NayaPakistan, press clubs have always been sanctuaries of free speech even under the worst dictatorship.

No better metaphor for the helplessness of the Pakistani state against the cancer of religious extremism than the fact that we will now expose millions more of our children to a deadly virus because we can't stop fanatics from murdering vaccinators.

A vile campaign has been launched against PPP's Shehla Raza even though she has clarified the matter. Hatemongering mullahs are using it as an opportunity to poison minds & create sectarian unrest. Authorities must take action against this mullah for uttering these profanities...
