Chromosomes are unrelated to gender. Sex is biological, gender is psychological. You've made three errors here: 1. More possibilities exist than just XX and XY. 2. Males are XY and females are XX, not vice versa. 3. Surgery changes sex, not gender. Gender is a mindset.

Again, genetic male and female can be different than secondary characteristics.

With respect and admitting I am no expert, the genes don’t always align so neatly. Please talk to a pediatrician you trust. In the meantime, let’s choose kind.

But some people have either hormonal or psychological status that doesn't match their chromosomes. & some people have xxy or xyy or yy. It is even possible to have some chromosomes be xx & some be xy in the same person.
