Yeah I was using it as example off top of head bc it is in K3s. A managed cloud data store would be great and it would be easier if Kubernetes had this as extensibility point.

Small scale with a few clients is easier than large clusters supporting a broad ecosystem of clients. It will take some time to support pluggable storage upstream
