Why are we forced to accept that the 2nd Amendment is settled law, but #RoeVsWade is not? If the argument is abortion kills, then the same argument applies to the 2nd Amendment. @Scotus

Because the 2nd Amendment is EXPLICITLY in the Bill of Rights, second ONLY to the right to speak freely in criticism of the government (among other things). An emendation of a penumbra is…shady.

Read the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like. Art I, Sec 8 gives Congress the right to raise an army from militias, and thus the right to bear arms in service of militias. This BS about unfettered rights to have an armory is just wrong

The law is and always has been whatever people say it is. There isn't any such thing as a part of the Constitution that is too holy to amend. The 2A itself, in case you hadn't noticed, is an amendment. It's been interpreted and will continue to be so.
