I've wondered allowed what it would look like on Cortland Ave. today If you transplanted everyone on Golden Gate/Hyde to the front of The Good Life Grocery. I moved into Bernal in 1989. There was drug dealing off Cortland but Bernal Heights was a lot different back then.

Drug dealers in Precita Park were removed for good—-precisely what some say can’t be achieved in the Tenderloin.
