I don't love blowers, but I deal with ~15 trees in my yards. Neither the time nor the back to rake up a 4" carpet of leaves. In general, if you live in the NE, you getting truckloads of leaves. Either your own, or the neighbors'. I like trees, not layers of rotting vegetation.

In Vancouver I don't think anyone has heard of them. Noisy leafblowers were everywhere on the street, it was horrific.
