Hi there Jennifer - sorry to hone in - if I may - I wouldn't worry about cropping the child's face - people need to see her face. Even if she's not a detained child. Her face is her humanity and that is what people need to see. I think it's fine to use for a poster.

We have a two & 1/2 yr old granddaughter. She loves to talk, thing is no one understands what she says. She'll go on for a full three minutes, spouting gibberish and every so often one of her brothers names. Expecting a toddler to speak in an adult world is just wrong!

Especially a frightened toddler.

Also, I didn’t even know my mother’s legal name when I was a child, because she went by her middle name. Can you even imagine these poor children?

Republicans argued that a 3-5 yr old child can represent himself. Absolutely absurd. What 3 year old can even tell you coherently why they are in custody.

They can't join the army or emancipate themselves in the U.S. or get married. Or drive a car or sign their own report cards.
