This increase isn’t due to parents’ gun storage getting sloppier. It’s because kids have been locked out of school and isolated for a year. Districts need to be held responsible for how their decisions have led to the unnecessary deaths of their students.
Our society as a whole needs to be held responsible for how we’ve caused more deaths of despair than prevented deaths of COVID for those 49 and under.
